AGREEMENTS

Ospedali Privati Riuniti – United Private Hospitals – have agreements with many of the major insurance companies. This allows them to access medical services with privileged conditions. As the case may be, conventions are “direct” or “indirect”:

• direct agreement means that the procedure whereby the company contracting with the United Private Hospitals structures assumes direct responsibility for the partial or total payment of the benefits provided to our centers in favor of the assisted;
• indirect agreement means that the procedure for which the patient (assisted), while benefiting from favorable economic conditions, pays in full the benefits provided in our facilities and then requests the repayment to his own body, fund or cash pool.

Since each company has its own rules regarding coverages and type of agreements, you need to contact your company directly for accurate information on possible coverage.
